The couches were built with plywood and repurposed cabinet doors from my parents’ kitchen remodel.
For the cushions, I ordered foam from Foam By Mail. I used seat cushion foam and batting for the seats. The back cushions are made with the filling from our old couch at our house. I bought the fabric at a local upholstery warehouse.
The curtain fabric is from a used goods store in Greensboro, NC called Reconsidered Goods. I LOVE this place! If you are ever in the area you should check them out. They have so much cool stuff.
We cut and stained pieces of wood for the top and bottom bars and used strips of leather that we had to hold the curtain rods when they are rolled up.
For more info on the curtains, I wrote a blog post about how we designed them and how they work.
